| Abstract: |
| Anode electrolytic reaction process was studied for the first time by combination of porous medium model with surface chemical reaction model with regards to structure of rare earth electrolysis cell used to produce neodymium metal by electrowinning. By setting porous medium layer within 1~2 mm thickness near anode and adding chemical reaction on porous medium layer, chemical reaction on surface of anode, flow field inside tank and gas bubble floating movement of process were simulated. Difference between this simulation method and Euler method and advantage of this research method were summarized by comparison. The simulation results show that this method can better reflect bubble generation and motion law of actual process of electrolytic reaction. |
