Abstract:
      An experimental model of flash furnace with swirling burner was established and particle distribution characteristic was studied with cold experimental method. The results show that particle distribution in reaction tower is controlled by combined action of process air and inner cyclone. Particles are concentrated on central zone under the burner by process air and dispersed away from central zone by inner cyclone. The ratio M, tangential momentum moment to axial momentum moment weighted according to radius in coaxial multi-channel burner, is fitted as the nonlinear function with two characteristic indexes expressed particles distribution uniformity in tower of mass segregation function px and central mass fraction x1 within the scope of experiment data, and the dimensionless correlations are px=5.71e-0.262M-0.34M and x1=68.66e-0.264M-4.05M respectively. There is an approximated linear relationship between px and x1.
