Abstract: |
Palladium was precipitated from palladium-bearing silver electrolyte by sodium butyl xanthate (SBX). Silver was electrolyzed from palladium-precipitated electrolyte. The results show that palladium can be efficiently enriched from silver electrolyte by SBX. Palladium precipitation rate is 99.84% and palladium content in palladium concentrate is 12.19% under the optimum conditions including SBX dosage of 3.6 times of palladium content, reaction temperature of 70 ℃, and time of 1 h. Silver powder meeting standard of IC-Ag99.99 is obtained by electrolysis from palladium-precipitated electrolyte. |
