| Abstract: |
| Direct reduction leaching of complex low grade oxidized copper and cobalt ores was studied. The results show that leaching rates of copper, nickel and zinc are 74.23%, 47.82%, and 59.31% respectively under the optimum conditions including ratio of liquid to solid of 2︰1, leaching temperature of 80 ℃, sulfuric acid consumption of tonnage ore of 117.2 kg, leaching time of 2 h, and ending potential of 340~350 mV adjusted by inletting SO2. The process of two stage countercurrent leaching can effectively reduce consumption of reducing agent, realize comprehensive utilization of free acid in leaching solution, and reduce alkali consumption for neutralization. |
