Abstract:
Effect of temperature on dry desulfurization of sintering flue gas with low-grade pyrolusite was investigated. Relationship between desulphurization rate and desulphurization velocity with pyrolusite and temperature was obtained. External mass transfer, internal diffusion and interfacial chemical reaction were analyzed to determine controlling step(s) of gas-solid reaction between pyrolusite and SO2. The results show that desulfurization rate rises with increasing of temperature, but desulfurization rate shows no evident rise after temperature reaching 110 ℃. External mass transfer and internal diffusion are the controlling steps, of which external mass transfer has the biggest impact on reaction.
