| Abstract: |
| Entity model of smelting and refining of crude lead was built for three-dimensional numerical simulation of lead vapor collection during lead smelting and investigation of flow characteristics of molten lead pot and negative pressure plate. The results show that calculation results agree well with test data. Volume fraction of lead vapor is small and most of gas is air in side suction hood. The heavy lead vapor is easy to sink and cannot be collected into suction tube. The collection efficiency of lead vapor in suction tube is not ideal as only as 1.1%. |
