| Abstract: |
| Application status of Process Simulation technology in process industry and characteristic and purpose of METSIM metallurgical process simulation system were briefly introduced. Tungsten alkali leaching process of ball milling and soda boiling in a factory of South of Jiangxi Province based on METSIM software was simulated. Material balance, verification of veracity of model, and of alkaline-heating process was analyzed. The results show that the process of ball milling and alkaline-leaching process based on the ETSIM software can accurately simulate the whole process of ball milling and alkaline-leaching process. The relative error of leaching rate of tungsten ore between actual production and simulation calculation is 0.35% which is within allowable range of the project. WO3 leaching process can be realized in real time through this model. |
