| Abstract: |
| Solidity strengthening reduction mechanism of vanadium-titanium magnetite concentrate was investigated by borax additive. The results show that metallization rate of reduced pellets is higher with additive than without borax. Borax additive accelerates reaction rate and strengthens metallization of reduction product. Reduced pellets of pre-oxidized vanadium-titanium magnetite concentrate contain abundant micro holes, which can change microstructure of reduced pellets, improve diffusion of gas reductant, and further enhance reducing property. |
