Abstract:
Effect of grain size refinement on bulk density of calcined coke powder was investigated. The results show that, under the conditions of raw materials and grain size distribution, available adjustment space of bulk density drops from 14.4% to 8.4%, while bulk density rises from 1.134 g/cm3 to 1.159 g/cm3. It is inappropriate to increase volume density by reducing middle coke content. Volume density can be effectively increased by reducing fine coke content.
