Abstract:
N235 waste water containing Zn2 and Fe3 from rare earth extraction process was applied as research object. Zn2 and Fe3 ions can be removed at pH=8 from waste water by NaOH precipitant. Under the optimum conditions, the waste water without Zn2 and Fe3 can be recycled in production process. In spite of negative effect of NaCl in waste water on Zn2 and Fe3 removal, quality of rare earth chloride products well completely meets technical requirements.
