Abstract:
Aluminum was removed from blank roasting-acid leaching solution of stone coal with an emerging desalination technology-capacitive deionization (CDI) by ion exchange resin/activated carbon composite electrode. The effect of process conditions on separation factor between vanadium and aluminum was investigated. The results show that adsorption quantity of aluminum is 422.4 mg/g with separation factor of 28.3 under the optimum conditions including charging voltage of 2.0 V, feeding flow rate of 25 mL/min, pH value of 0.75, and electrode spacing of 9 mm.
