Abstract:
Gold and silver were leached from low grade gold-bearing sulfur concentrates by alkali-sulfur oxygen pressure leaching. The optimum acidic leaching conditions including leaching temperature of 130 ℃, leaching time of 300 min, leaching pressure of 1.6 MPa, L/S of 4︰1, initial concentration of acid of 20 g/L, and lignin of 2‰. The optimum sulfur-alkali oxygen pressure leaching conditions include leaching agent of 40% of total dry ore, mass rate of sulfur to alkali of 0.35, catalyst Cu(NH3)42 of 0.06 mol/L, sodium lignosulphonate of 0.2% of dry ore, oxygen pressure of 0.4 MPa, temperature of 105 ℃, and leaching time of 5 h. The leaching rate of gold and silver is 88.23% and 61.35% respectively under these optimum conditions.
