Abstract:
A low melting point slag system of SiO2︰FeO︰CaO︰Na2O=30︰34︰12︰24 was selected to investigate effect of smelting time, coke rate, and smelting temperature on reduction smelting of antimony oxide in bath smelting. Average direct recovery rate of metallic antimony is 92.66% with antimony grade of 97.09%, and average mass fraction of antimony in slag is 1.06% under the optimum conditions including smelting time of 50 min, coke rate of 12.5%, and smelting temperature of 1 000 ℃. Those indexes are all superior to those of traditional reverberatory process.
