| Abstract: |
| Electric-magnetic model of aluminum electrolysis cell for wind power accommodation was established based on current situation of nonlinear changes in physical fields of aluminum reduction cells after wind power accommodation. Calculation of electric field and magnetic fields was carried out for different accommodation currents including 25%, 20%, 15%, 10% and 5% of design current. The results show that cell voltage and horizontal current density rise with increase of accommodation aptitude, with no change of overall electric field trend. Similar pattern appear in magnetic field. The maximum and average values of Bz rise, while magnetic field trend remains unchanged. Maintainace of cell in a stable MHD state will provide congenital conditions for wind power accommodation. |
