Abstract:
Comprehensive recovery of gold and copper by hot-pressure oxidation-cyanidation from copper-bearing gold concentrate was studied. At the stage of pressure oxidation, the effects of particle size, time, temperature, oxygen pressure, and L/S on leaching rate of copper were investigated. The results show that copper leaching rate is 98.92% under the conditions including particle size of -44 μm content of 85%, pressure oxidation time of 2 h, temperature of 210 ℃, oxygen pressure of 0.8 MPa, and L/S=4/1. Gold leaching rate rises from 48.65% of conventional cyanidation leaching to 98.41%, and sodium cyanide consumption drops from 33.27 kg/t of conventional cyanidation leaching to 1.67 kg/t under the conditions including slurry density of 33%, pH value of 10~11, sodium cyanide concentrate of 1‰, and leaching time of 24 h. Comprehensive recovery of gold and copper is realized.
