Abstract:
Process of silver extraction and silver chloride preparation from gold separating residue was proposed. Leaching rate of silver is 98.3% under the optimum conditions including concentration of sodium sulfite of 220 g/L, pH value of 8.0, temperature of 40 ℃, leaching time of 60 min, and L/S=10. Silver chloride with purity of 99.9% and silver recovery of 98.2% is prepared from leaching solution when controlling pH value at 4.0 by adding sulfuric acid.
