Abstract:
Waste water from silver extraction by hydrometallurgy from waste plasma display panels was treated by neutralization oxidation flocculation, evaporation, and neutralization flocculation evaporation, respectively. The results show that neutralization flocculation evaporating method has high removal efficiency for heavy metals and COD, and can also achieve basic equilibrium in wastewater treatment and recycling cost value by recovery of nitric acid and sale of neutralization residues. Moreover, condensed water can be recycled in production process with no effect on production index.
