Abstract:
      Natural oxidation behavior and metallurgical property of hydrothermal polymetallic sulfide in seabed was studied. The results show that oxidation time exerts the biggest effect on oxidation of polymetallic sulfide. Humidification and stirring can improve oxidation rate of polymetallic sulfide ore. Oxidation rate of 30-day oxidation reaches the maximum value of 0.0493%/d under conditions of humidification and stirring. Native copper sulfide is transformed into water-soluble copper in oxidation.
