Abstract:
In order to ensure copper leaching rate and reduce leaching loss of Te, Ag, etc, acidic leaching was substituted by pre-leaching and water leaching under low stirring speed to leach copper from selenium-removed residues of copper anode slime. The effects of sodium chloride addition, stirring speed, and pre-leaching time on copper leaching rate were investigated. The results show that the optimum conditions include pre-leaching duration of 12 h in water with L/S=4, and then stirring for 2 hours at room temperature with one time theoretical amount of sodium chloride and stirring rate as low as 100 r/min. Under the above conditions, copper leaching rate of pilot test is 94%, tellurium loss is 3% below, with no loss of Ag, Bi, Sb, Pt, Pd, and Au.
