| Abstract: |
| The effects of temperature, dosage of carbon and Na2CO3 on reduction of V-Ti bearing magnetite concentrate pellet were investigated by heating test of concentrate-coal-Na2CO3 mixed pellets. The influence mechanism of Na2CO3 on reduction of concentrate was discussed. The results show that temperature, carbon amount and Na2CO3 amount as additive have great effect on reduction degree and metallization of concentrate, with temperature exerting the most significant effect. Na2CO3 can produce obvious catalytic effect on carbon gasification reaction at low temperature, promoting reduction of iron oxide in concentrate. Reducibility and metallization rate of concentrate is 94.56% and 91.67% respectively, and metallic iron particles are apparently evident under the conditions including carbon amount of 2.33 mol, Na2CO3 amount of 0.014 mol, temperature of 1 260 ℃,and time of 30 min. |
