Abstract:
Dissolution behavior of Al, Si, and K was studied by dissolution experiment in mixed solution of sulfuric acid and hydrofluoric acid. Crystal structures variation of muscovite were investigated with FTIR, XRD, SEM, and other means. The results indicate that, compared with single sulfuric acid solution system, dissolution rates of Al, Si and K in mixed solution of sulfuric acid and hydrofluoric acid increase by 23.12, 44.51, and 11.00 percentage point, respectively. That promotes hydrofluoric acid can effectively destroy Si-O tetrahedron and Al-O octahedron of muscovite. With dissolution time prolongs, -OH, Si(AlIV)-O-(Al), and Si-O-Si(AlIV) gradually be destroyed. Firstly destroyed lattice plane is (002), (004), and (131).
