Abstract:
Ni-Mo ore was treated by oxygen pressure acid leaching. The results show that leaching rate of Mo, Ni and Fe rise with increase of temperature and time. The maximum leaching rate of Mo and Ni is 67.50% and 99.62% respectively, while leaching rate of Fe is 50% below. Most of molybdenum in residue exists in form of H2MoO4, which can be effectively leached by conventional alkali leaching process with lower alkali consumption. The apparent activation energy of Mo, Ni, and Fe is 11.37, 34.95, and 18.44 kJ/mol respectively. Leaching reaction of Mo, Ni, and Fe is controlled by internal diffusion.
