| Abstract: |
| Mg10Al(7-x)Li2Tix(x=0,1,2,3) alloys were prepared by mechanical alloying under hydrogen atmosphere protection and characterized by XRD, SEM and DSC. The results show that Ti addition can improve hydrogen absorption capacity of alloys, reduce initial alloy hydride temperature, and improve performance of alloy hydrogen absorption kinetics. Initial hydride temperatures of Mg10Al(7-x)Li2Tix(x=0,1,2,3) alloys are all 62 K lower than those of Mg10Al7Li2 alloy, and initial dehydrogenation temperature drops by 77, 98, and 59 K respectively. The optimum comprehensive hydrogen storage performance is obtained with x=2. |
