Abstract:
Vanadium was extracted from high-acidity leaching solution of stone coal with N235 and addition of inorganic salt. The effects of acidity, and concentration of N235, NaCl, and Na2SO4 on vanadium extraction efficiency in high concentrated H2SO4 solution were investigated. The structure of extracted complex was determined. The results show that vanadium extraction efficiency can be promoted by Cl- and SO42- in concentrated H2SO4 solution. After one-stage extraction under the conditions including 20% N235, initial sulfuric acid concentration of 1 mol/L, extraction time of 10 min, and phase ratio A/O=1, only 30% of vanadium is extracted in H2SO4 system while adding a certain amount of NaCl and Na2SO4 raises vanadium extraction rate to 80% and 47% respectively. NaCl has bigger effect to direct extract vanadium from concentrated H2SO4 solution with production of (R3N)x?(VO2 ?Cl-)y in form of ion association. Vanadium extraction efficiency rises with increase of?VO2SO4- concentration when SO42- concentration is improved.
