Abstract:
Arsenic and ammonia-nitrogen wastewater in tungsten smelting was treated with calcium hypochlorite and ferrous sulfate by two-step static process. The optimum conditions were determined by single factor test. The results show that removal efficiency of As and NH4 -N is 99% above with concentration of As and NH4 -N in treated wastewater of <0.05 mg/L and <0.15 mg/L respectively, which meets the discharge requirements of GB8978-1996 standard.
