Abstract:
Niobium-nickel alloy powder precursor NiNbO6 was prepared directly from niobium ore. Effects of grinding size, roasting temperature, roasting time, ratio of acid to ore, and sulfuric acid concentration on niobium leaching rate during sulfuric acid roasting were investigated. The results show that niobium leaching rate is 94% above with niobium recovery of 93% under the optimum conditions including grinding size of -0.025 mm, roasting temperature of 300 ℃, roasting time of 3 h, ratio of acid to ore of 2.5, and sulfuric acid concentration of 10 mol/L.
