Abstract:
Titanium and iron were leached and separated from ilmenite by sulfuric acid digestion with ultrasonic and microwave assistance and water leaching. The results show that volumetric analysis can accurately determine contents of iron and titanium in extraction solution. Ultrasonic and microwave promote leaching significantly. Leaching rate of titanium and iron is 97.2% and 98.0% is respectively after water leaching of 10 min.
