Abstract:
Selenium and mercury were separated and recovered from complex low mercury bearing selenium slag by twice roasting process. Selenium and mercury were volatilized and enriched into dust with both volatilization rates of selenium and mercury of 99% above after roasted at 800~850 ℃ for 1.5 h without granulation. Mercury content in selenium enriched roasting slag is 0.01% below. Selenium fixed rate in calcine is 99.5% and mercury removal rate is 99.41% after dust was pelletized with lime (1.25 times of theoretical value of CaO) and roasted at 650 ℃ for 90 min.
