Abstract:
Surrounding tailings discharge water, percolating water, and shallow groundwater were selected to study and analyze variation in content of uranium, forms of existence, and influence factors. Chemical speciation of uranium in surrounding water was calculated by geochemical models PHREEQC-Ⅱ. Chemical indexes were analyzed by SPSS data processing software for discharge water, percolation water, and shallow groundwater. The results show that uranium in water is almost 100% U(Ⅵ), existing mainly in forms of UO2F , UO2F2, UO2OH , UO2(CO3)22-, (UO2)2CO3(OH)3–, and UO2(OH)2 in three water samples. Uranium concentration in water environment is mainly affected by anions, such as HCO3-, SO42-, oxidation-reduction potential.
