| Abstract: |
| XRD, ICP and TOC were applied to characterize electrode materials obtained by sieving of waste Li-ion batteries. The mechanisms of carbon thermal reduction were investigated by TGA and GC-MS under oxygen-free condition. Under the condition of oxygen-free roasting, anode material graphite in waste lithium-ion battery reacts with cathode material to obtain products of cobalt and lithium carbonate. Cobalt is present in magnetic solid after wet magnetic separation with final recovery rate of 95.12%. |
