Abstract:
Effect of defluorination from waste acid during acid-making of metallurgical off-gas by concentration method and feasibility of recycling of waste acid for zinc hydrometallurgy were studied. Defluorination affect was analyzed by comparing experiment of simulated waste acid and industrial waste acid. Fluoride concentration in gas phase is lower than that in liquid phase when concentration of sulfuric acid in waste acid is 40% below, which shows increase of fluoride concentration in waste acid. When concentration of sulfuric acid in waste acid is 40% above, volatility of fluoride in waste acid rises, and fluoride concentration drops. Fluoride concentration in waste acid drops drastically when concentration of sulfuric acid in waste acid is higher than 45.59%. Removal rate of fluoride in waste water is 99.17% above with fluorine content of 237.45 mg/L when concentration of sulfuric acid in waste acid is higher than 81.67%.
