Abstract: |
Effects of hydrochloric acid dosage, temperature, and time on leaching rate of rare earth (RE) were investigated applying REO-SiO2-Al2O3-FeO-B2O3 multicomponent slag recovered from NdFeB scrap as raw material. Comparative experiments were conducted at low temperature-atmospheric pressure (LTAP) and high temperature-high pressure (HTHP) respectively. Leaching rate of RE of LTAP is 96% under the optimum conditions including dosage of hydrochloric acid of 1.45 times of theoretical amount, temperature of 85 ℃, and time of 60 min. Leaching rate of RE of HTHP is 98% under the optimum conditions including dosage of hydrochloric acid of 1.05 times of theoretical amount, temperature of 110~120 ℃, and time of 30 min. Compared with LTAP, HTHP consumes less hydrochloric acid and takes shorter time to obtain the same level of leaching rate of RE. |
