| Abstract: |
| Porous Ti5Si3 alloy was prepared from Ti-enriched slag/SiO2 mixed pellet by FFC method in CaCl2 molten salt at 900 ℃ with cell voltage of 2.6~3.2 V. The effects of electrolysis time and cell voltage on electrolysis were investigated by thermodynamics analysis and single factor experiments. The results show that reaction rate is high in initial period, and slows down due to formation of intermediates of CaTiO3 and CaSiO3. The reaction rate is low at cell voltage of 2.6 V, but grows high obviously at 2.8 V. Porous Ti5Si alloy with particle size of 2~5 μm is obtained under the condition of 900 ℃, 8 h, and 3.2 V. |
