Abstract:
Technical improvement and plant practice of production of high grade Ni-Fe alloy from nickel laterite in Myanmar Dagaung Taung were introduced. With measures including canceling limestone addition, improving nickel grade from 25% to 35%, raising calcine temperature to 700 ℃ above, and strengthening raw material control etc, long term technical problem of foaming slag in electric furnace is solved effectively, production capacity is 108% of the designed capacity, and consumption index drops sharply.
