| Abstract: |
| Effect of thermo-mechanical treatment on strength and electrical conductivity of aluminum alloy electrical round rod was investigated by metalloscope analysis, tensile mechanical properties test, SEM, EDS and XRD phase analysis. The results show that application of deformation together with solid solution and aging treatment increases precipitated phase with more diffuse distributed in matrix, which not only strengthens dispersion and improves conductivity of sample. After thermo-mechanical treatment of 450~550 ℃×(4~8)h solid solution, cold rolling of 31% deformation, 160~220 ℃×(6~10)h aging, and cold rolling of 84% deformation, the sample has excellent comprehensive performance with tensile strength of 202 MPa and conductivity of 59.11%IACS. |
