| Abstract: |
| Effects of aggregate size, heating temperature, holding time, and vibration number on wettability of modified pitch were investigated with modified pitch as binder, calcined anthracite and pitch coke as aggregate. Specific surface area of calcined anthracite and pitch coke with different particle size distribution were measured by automatic surface area and porosity analyzer. The results indicate that specific surface area of aggregate particles rises with drop of aggregate size. Wettability of modified pitch on calcined anthracite and pitch coke is greatly reduced with drop of aggregate size and increase of vibration time, and rises with increase of heating temperature and holding time. It is possible to improve the wetting effect of modified pitch on calcined anthracite and pitch coke by appropriately adjusting aggregate size, heating temperature, holding time, and vibration number. |
