| Abstract: |
| Leaching of Ge-bearing zinc oxide dust with sulfuric acid was investigated. The results show that leaching rate of Zn and Ge is 89.12% and 89.95% respectively under the optimum conditions including zinc oxide dust of 50 g, mass concentration of sulfuric acid of 20 mL, leaching temperature of 80 ℃, leaching time of 2 h, and L/S of 4︰1. Germanium precipitation rate is 97.2% from leaching liquor by tannic acid at pH 2.5 and 60 ℃ for 0.5 h with mass ratio of tannic acid/germanium of 40%. Germanium concentrate (Ge 14.55%) can be obtained by roasting tannin slag at 600 ℃ for 1 h. The solution can be returned for Zn production after Ge removal. |
