| Abstract: |
| Tailings bearing rare metals were treated by low temperature sulfation-water leaching. Effect of each factor on leaching rate of rare earth and Sc was studied. Leaching rates of RE and Sc are 85.91% and 97.40% respectively under the optimum conditions including sulfation temperature of 130 ℃, mass ratio of acid to tailings of 1.4︰1, sulfation duration of 24 h, L/S of leaching of 5︰1, leaching temperature of 35 ℃, and leaching duration of 3 h. |
