| Abstract: |
| Problems existing in 100 kt/a activated coke exhaust gas desulfurization system for zinc smelting put into operation since April 2011 were introduced. The problems include frequent fan failure, high cost of spare parts, no recovery of tail gas cooling water, cracking of tower body of regeneration section, abnormal wear of parts of chain hopper, and break-off of running system due to active coke spontaneous combustion. Proper measures are taken to address the above mentioned problems. |
