Abstract:
Magnetic aluminum salt adsorbent (MASA) was prepared by precipitation method. Particle size of MASA is in micrometer scale with a certain stacking. Distribution of Al and Fe in MASA is uniform, and lithium content rises obviously after adsorption. Specific saturation magnetization of adsorbent is 10.78 emu/g. Lithium adsorption capacity is 4~5 mg/g with no obvious change within 5 times. Selectivity of lithium in brine is higher, and distribution of magnesium ratio is 468. After washed with saturated NaCl, concentration of Li and Mg2 in cleaning solution is 0.1 g/L and 296 g/L respectively, and concentration of Li and Mg2 in desorbed solution is 0.175 g/L and 0.15 g/L.
