| Abstract: |
| Solvent impregnated resins (SIRs) were prepared by impregnating Amberlite XAD-16HP with mixing extractant as different ratio of P204 to TBP. The effects of ratio of P204 to TBP on impregnation rate, adsorption capacity for V(Ⅳ) and effective utilization rate of extractant were investigated. Separation factor of V(Ⅳ) to main impurity ions (Fe3 and Al3 ) on different SIRs was studied. The results show that SIRs cannot adsorb V(Ⅳ) and adsorption capacity for V(Ⅳ) is attributed to P204 when extractant is sole TBP in SIRs. As proportion of TBP in mixing extractants rises, the impregnation rate of SIRs and adsorption capacity for V(Ⅳ) drop gradually, while the effective utilization rate of extractant rises. Addition of TBP to P204 can slightly shorten adsorption equilibration time for adsorbing V(Ⅳ), and slightly improve adsorption capacity for V(Ⅳ) at lower pH value. The adsorption kinetics show that addition of TBP can increase adsorption reaction rate between SIRs and V(Ⅳ). Adsorption of V(Ⅳ) on different SIRs fits well with pseudo-second order kinetic equation. |
