Abstract:
Uranium leaching process of CO2 O2 in-situ leaching for seven leaching units at Mengqiguer deposit was analyzed. The results show that 450~600 mg/L of CO2 can not only control pH value at reasonable level to prevent calcium carbonate precipitation, but also produce enough HCO3- for uranium leaching. With obvious effect on oxidizing of ore deposit, oxygen with content of 200~300 mg/L controls SO42- at a lower content to avoid calcium sulfate precipitation. The resolved uranium is in positive correlation with mineralization conditions and ratio of injection rate to production rate in each leaching unit. CO2 O2 leaching technology is suitable for uranium in-situ leaching of the deposit under study.
