| Abstract: |
| Effects of current density, zinc ion concentration, sulfuric acid concentration, inter-electrode spacing, and electrolyte temperature on current efficiency, cell voltage and power consumption of zinc electrowinning were studied. The results show that power consumption rises with increase of current density, inter-electrode spacing and sulfuric acid concentration, and drops with increase of zinc ions concentration. Power consumption drops first and then rises with increase of electrolyte temperature, and reaches the minimum value at about 45 ℃. |
