Abstract:
Extraction system, acidity, extractant concentration, phase ratio and extraction time in the extraction process of induim from chloride system were studied. Effect of hydrochloric acid concentration on indium stripping was tested. The first extraction rate of indium is 97.01% and three-stage countercurrent extraction rate of indium is 99.5% under the optimum conditions including organic phase of 30%P204, O/A=1/3, saponification rate of 60%, pH value of initial aqueous phase of 0.5, and mixing time at room temperature of 5 min. The first stripping rate of indium is 75.52% and three-stage stripping rate of indium is 100% under the optimum conditions including O/A=10/1, hydrochloric acid concentration of 3 mol/L, and mixing time at room temperature of 5 min. Total indium recovery is 96.8%.
