Abstract:
      CaCl2-CaF2 molten salt was prepared by different kinds of vacuum dewatering process. Effects of dewatering temperature and dewatering time on contents of H2O and CaO were investigated. CaO solubility in molten salt and watering absorption property of molten salt were researched. The results show that impurity contents of H2O and CaO in molten salt drop with rise of dewatering temperature and dewatering time. CaO solubility in molten salt gradually rises with rise of molten salt temperature and dissolution time. CaO solubility drops gradually with increase of water content in molten salt. Water absorption properties of molten salt prepared by different dewatering process are different in that the lower water content in molten salt is, the stronger water absorption is presented.
