Abstract:
Effects of material quality, distillation temperature, distillation time, and vacuum degree on separation of Sb and As from Sb-As alloy by vacuum distillation were investigated. The results show that under the optimum conditions, the products obtained in the first distillation contain 99.08% antimony and 0.56% arsenic with antimony recovery rate of 91.15%, which realizes the target of successful separation of antimony and arsenic. Arsenic is produced in the form of metal arsenic without secondary pollution.
