Abstract:
      The feasibility to recover gold from ammonia cyanide solution by steel wool replacement adsorption was studied. The results show that gold adsorption replacement rate is 95% above under the conditions including voltage of 2 V, feeding flow rate of solution of 10 mL/min (adsorption time of 1.83 h) by adsorption replacement of gold and copper. Qualified gold is obtained from gold-bearing steel wool by traditional process of purification with nitric acid, gold dissolution with aqua regia, and reduction with sodium sulfite.
