Abstract:
Risk assessment of heavy metals of Cr(Ⅵ), Cr, Pb, and As in surrounding soil of chromium slag stock dump was conducted by index of geoaccumulation, potential ecological risk index and human health risk assessment model applying surrounding soils of chromium slag stock dump as research object. The results show that average content of Cr(Ⅵ), Cr, Pb, and As in soil is 567.19, 9 055.61, 457.19 and 66.80 mg/kg respectively. The ecological risk level of the studied area is beyond medium danger, and pollution of Cr largely comes from human activities. Carcinogenic risk of Cr(Ⅵ) and As in the studied soil mainly comes from exposed contact and eating. No carcinogenic risk of the studied area is extremely serious, which mainly coms from Cr.
