| Abstract: |
| Component characteristics of sublimate under different conditions and its effects on chlorine compressor in NaCl-KCl-MgCl2 melts were studied with Factsage, XRD and SEM. The results show that component of sublimate under non-electrolytic condition is consistent with theory vale, but MgCl2 content of sublimate under electrolyte condition rises drastically due to by-product MgCl2 produced via reaction Mg with Cl2 sublimates on electrolyte surface. Particle size and structure of sublimate at different conditions present inhomogeneous and irregularity. However, particle size of sublimate obtained under electrolyte condition is larger than that under non-electrolyte condition because of drop of melts produced under electrolyte condition. Sulfate (disulphate) and HCl obtained through reaction sublimate with sulfuric acid could shorten service life of chlorine compressor impeller and chlorine pipeline. Pore size and quality of cloth bag should be under strict control, and secondary filter added between bag filter and chlorine compressor is feasible. |
