Abstract:
Based on analysis of composition and chemical phases, effects of temperature, leaching time, sodium chlorate concentration, and acidity on lead and silver extraction from lead-silver residue produced in hydrometallurgical zinc refinery were investigsted. The results show that leaching ratio of lead and silver is 94.43% and 91.48% respectively, and lead and silver content in residue is 0.9% and 84.4 g/t respectively under the optimum conditions including NaCl concentration of 300 g/L, CaCl2 concentration of 50 g/L, initial HCl concentration of 0.4 mol/L, leaching temperature of 85 ℃, leaching time of 2.5h, and L/S=8.
